ICANN meeting – Singapore – summary and links

Maureen Hilyard

• Participated in At Large Advisory Committee policy development sessions as part of the At Large Singapore programme.

• My powerpoint presentation on the work of the  ALAC, at the joint ccNSO Council and ALAC Leadership Team. (Joint ALAC-ccNSO presentation-MHilyard-Final)

• Reported on my attendance of the ccNSO member sessions and the ccNSO Council meeting

• Participated in a presentation regarding Metrics for ALAC performance at the ALAC Metrics Working Group feedback session.
  

• Attended the ALAC Leadership Team meeting with the GAC Executive

• Participated in sessions that are planning for the At Large Summit (ATLAS II) to be held in London in June 2014. 
  

• Attended the APRALO Regional meeting and the APRALO Showcase (as well as being on the Organising Committee along with Emani). Siranush’s report on the meeting  and video of Showcase are attached. Below.. the APRALO team on showcase night. (Maureen and Ellen included!)

• Made an intervention at the Public Forum seeking more support for Save’s Stakeholder Engagement role in the Pacific  (attached)

• Gunela Astbrink has been selected to participate in a Pilot Mentorship programme to enable her to be more directly introduced to ICANN. She has already joined the Accessibility Task Force which will focus on the needs of people with disabilities. I  have been appointed by the ALAC as her mentor.
