PICISOC Board members held their first face-to-face meeting of 2026 in Port Moresby while attending Pacific Cyber Week.
The meeting provided an important opportunity for Board members from across the Pacific to meet in person, strengthen working relationships and review PICISOC's immediate and longer-term priorities.
A key focus of the meeting was the finalisation of the PICISOC and Mini Pacific Internet Governance Forum session scheduled during Pacific Cyber Week.
Board members reviewed the session format, discussion themes, facilitation arrangements and expected outcomes to ensure the programme provides a meaningful opportunity for participants to contribute their views.
