Pacific Cyber Week 2026 officially opened in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, bringing together government representatives, cybersecurity professionals, technical experts, civil society, academia and development partners from across the Pacific.
The four-day regional event provides an important platform for cooperation and discussion on cybersecurity, digital development, online safety, artificial intelligence and emerging technology priorities affecting Pacific communities.
PICISOC Board members are participating in the event and engaging with regional stakeholders on the future of Internet governance, cybersecurity capacity development and meaningful digital participation in the Pacific.
Pacific Cyber Week also provides an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and ensure that Pacific perspectives remain central to regional and international digital discussions.
PICISOC and Mini PacIGF Session
PICISOC will host an interactive Mini Pacific Internet Governance Forum session on Tuesday 21 July 2026 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at APEC Haus. The session will reflect on the PICISOC and PacIGF journey and gather input on future regional priorities.
